The popular image of witches soaring on broomsticks under the Full Moon’s glow came to mind when analyzing this lunation chart. A stimulus for ritual and spellcasting, this syzygy, nestling at 5 degrees of Virgo on February 24, 4:30 am PT (your time), marks an auspicious time for all kinds of “supernatural” phenomena. May this Forecast Bite’s imagery spark your imagination and catalyze useful insights! – Michelle
Embodying the virtues of modesty and practicality, Luna’s unassuming grace is a true blessing that guarantees integrity. She has no desire for overt attention or praise, no need for pomp or vanity, a genuine testimony to her unwavering dedication and pursuit of excellence. Shunning the spotlight, our Lady of Fortune prefers to micromanage the intricate web of Fate, capturing faults and failures on the way to perfection. Self-improvement and precision are her tried and tested features, guiding us to make the best of every situation.
Painting is the passage from the chaos of the emotions to the order of the possible. – Balthus (Sun/Mercury and Saturn in Pisces)
Navigating the murky waters of ambiguity with a fallen Mercury in Pisces as her captain, Luna feels a sense of disorientation, her feet sink into a soil much muddier than expected. While nourishing her silver skin, our Immaculate Lady harbors mixed feelings about all this messiness. After all, dirt is matter out of place. Meticulously, she still strives to mold the muddy chaos into coherent building blocks that someday might serve something. When and what that might be remains to be seen. Enveloped by Sol’s brilliant flames, Hermes appears to be fully sedated and of little help to Luna, whose underlying sense of urgency is starting to make her anxious.
Do your tried-and-true methods prove less efficient than usual? Distractions are rarely welcome, but in Virgo, they’re absolutely taboo! Yet, during this lunar journey in the Virgin’s realm, you might find yourself completely absorbed in all sorts of diversions. Purposeless reveries and indulgent fancies may seem a terrible waste of time, but keep in mind that they could be the touch of magic that gives way to fresh approaches.
Basking in the fullness of Sol’s light, Luna digests and processes intriguing dreams that transport her on wild, surreal journeys filled with precognition and stunning visions. Serendipitous inspiration lights the bulbs of wisdom from afar. Deeply nourished by the mysterious fluidity of Pisces, all boundaries blur, revealing secrets as psychopomp Mercury’s pending rebirth is about to illuminate hidden truths. Schedule some extra time for deliberate spontaneity. Meandering and dreaming take up space and time but may give you a wealth of guidance in return.
I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be. - Douglas Adams (Full Moon in Virgo)
Luna’s first aspect, an opposition to an old, tired, and combust Saturn, symbolizes moments of apprehensiveness woven into a pervasive undertone of melancholy. Awkward moods and painful memories of shame and embarrassment linger.
A Moon/Saturn opposition can be unsettling through unsolicited self-reproach, criticism, and, sometimes, a bitter sense of personal failure. Yet, the threat of hopelessness is tempered by a sextile to benevolent Zeus, the eternal optimist.
The square between the newly betrothed Venus and Mars to Jupiter signals a potentially tumultuous phase, and this adventurous encounter could be another set of distractions. There's a temptation to pursue pleasure without effort, promoting freedom and enthusiasm but also risking hubris, possessiveness, and obsession. As Luna well knows, the trouble is in the excess. It's time to confront attachments and addictions and prevent carelessness from taking control.
Consider this…
Call it a double cazimi or a triple conjunction, the fact is that, between February 27, 10:13 AM and February 29, 4:11 AM PT, the Sun, Mercury, and Saturn converge at 9 degrees of Pisces. This means that Mercury and Saturn will regenerate almost simultaneously. Sinking into the vast depths of our imagination, Hermes uses his master key to pry into Saturn’s mystical secrets. On the throne of King Sol, this synergy can help you envision new horizons. Keep your broom close at hand—there are more wonders yet to be unveiled.

We were just discussing at work that our local river has burst its banks again for the third time this year, the surrounding fields are saturated. This creates anerobic soil that lacks in oxygen, and as even soil needs to breathe to sustain plant life, it is going to take a while for the fields to recover from being waterlogged. Very fitting for this Full Moon!
