Transcript:
Sit comfortably in a quiet space, allowing your body to relax and your mind to become calm. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, release any tension or stress you may be holding in your face, neck, and shoulders.
Continue breathing in and out through your nose, relaxing your forehead and jaw, and bringing the energy of the season of the ram into your body. Aries is a fire sign, an energetic archetype filled with enthusiasm, drive, and passion. As you breathe in and out, feel the catalytic potential of a bright spark lighting up your dreams and wishes from the inside, like the strike of a match. .
Now, bring your attention to your head, a body part that is associated with Aries. Our heads do so much work- thinking, planning, strategizing, seeing, smelling, tasting. As you breathe, visualize some of the pressure you feel in your head spilling out into the air above you like a fountain. Don’t try to hold onto your thoughts... let them out, let them flow. Feel a sense of lightness that overcomes your head when you do this. Feel any tension or overwhelm that you’ve been feeling releasing into the air and flowing back down toward the earth, moving like a fountain. The air above you and the earth beneath you can hold your thoughts, your hopes and dreams, for now.
As the fountain of energy continues to flow from the top of your head, shift your focus to the muscles in your body, also ruled by Aries. Imagine the energy that pours around you, out of your head and to the floor, soothing any pain or tension you feel in your muscles. Notice any sensations or warmth as the energy massages your muscular system, your bloodstream, your entire body. Give your muscles and your head thanks for all the action they take on your behalf, for all the strength and wisdom they contain.
Now, bring your awareness back to your head, and notice if thoughts and pressure have crept back in. Visualize a gate opening at the top of your head, and let them spill outward. Allow the passions of Aries to infuse your body, and as you breathe, stretch your spine upward. If you feel called, roll your neck slowly around in a clockwise direction, thanking your neck for holding up your head. Embrace the raw power that Aries embodies, the energy and resolve to crack open a seed of infinite potential and grow into a bright new being.
Take a few moments to bask in this energy, feeling the sparkling enthusiasm of Aries within you. Embrace the new season of spring by inhaling the deepest inhale you’ve taken all day. Hold it for a moment at the top. Now release it, relaxing all the muscles in your body at the same time.
When you are ready, gently open your eyes, carrying this sense of Aries energy with you throughout your day.
