Embracing Sensuality, Stability, and Care

Begin by finding a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in, then slowly let it out. Repeat this a few times, allowing your body to relax with each exhale.
Continue breathing in and out through your nose, relaxing your forehead and jaw, and bringing the energy of the season of the bull into your body. As you breathe in and out, feel the strength and stability of the earth beneath you, holding you with care and comfort. Imagine that you’re sitting or lying on a soft, green meadow covered with wildflowers blooming in this mid-spring season.
Now, bring your attention to your lower jaw, neck and throat area, the parts of the body ruled by Taurus. Feel any tension in these areas and imagine it dissolving with each breath you take. Imagine a warm, comforting light enveloping your throat, easing any discomfort or tension. Picture this light as a strong, stable Taurus energy, grounding you and making you feel secure.
Take another deep inhale through your nose, and when you exhale, make a humming sound, using your throat to make a gentle, comforting sound. Do this again, inhaling through the nose and humming on the exhale with your lips closed. Feel the soft and gentle vibrations in your throat, soothing this important part of your body. Your jaw and throat are paramount to your survival—eating, drinking, and speaking—and they work so hard. Give them some love as you hum.
On your next breath, inhale through the nose and open your jaw on the exhale to breathe out through your mouth. Again, inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth with a relaxed jaw. Do this one more time, but on the exhale, make a tone with your voice, an ahhh or an ohhhh.
On your next breath through your nose, focus on your senses, especially taste and smell, which are particularly important to the Taurus. Imagine the taste of your favorite food, feeling the texture and the flavor of it in your mouth. Imagine how it smells as you enjoy it, savoring the moment. Allow these sensory experiences to bring you joy and comfort, and give gratitude to your senses for the world of delight that they let you experience every day.
Take a few moments to stay in this state, enjoying the comfort, sensuality, and security brought by this Taurus energy. Embrace the season of deep spring by inhaling the deepest breath you’ve taken all day. Hold it for a moment at the top. Now, release it, relaxing all the muscles in your body at the same time.
When you're ready, slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Open your eyes and take one last deep breath, carrying this peaceful and grounded energy with you into your day.
