In the middle of this eclipse season, the symbolism is rampant! ABC’s “The View” featured a Golden Child for their Halloween celebrations. It reminded me of the Tarot card for the Sun illustrating a child with golden hair and a red scarf. For this occasion, a child was painted and dressed in gold to resemble an Oscar statuette.
Depicting the infamous slap Will Smith gave at the Oscars, a red hand was drawn on the child’s golden face. The word “Oscar” is derived from the Old English Osgar, which means "god's spear”. Weapons belong to the realm of Mars. Not only is the red hand an in-your-face (pun intended) Martian symbol of aggression and violence. The mark obscures part of the gold of the child’s face, much like the Moon/Ketu partially obscured the Sun on October 25.
Remember that the Solar Eclipse was accompanied by a cazimi Venus? Aphrodite is the goddess of women and sisters. Scorpio’s ruler Mars is the god of conflict and controversy and this is exactly what this child’s appearance has sparked. A red hand print on one’s face happens to be a symbol for missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.
