Luna’s new light is still crescent in Aquarius and spreads across the dimming landscape as the season of night continues its descent. Centaurs buck and play in a clearing below by a tall tower. Air feeds fire, and fire warms the air as Luna sends sextile aspects to the Sun, Venus and Mercury in Sagittarius. Let your imagination frolic into constructing new cultures, societies, worlds.

Appearing as the symbol of grave wisdom, the Moon flies silently in the body of an owl. She circles the half-human horses offering an opportunity to see into her orphic eyes. Luna hoots an effectual reminder to corral our high spirits and point them toward something concrete with staying power.

Up, up, up, she soars till she comes to perch on the sill of the highest tower window. Pulled by a fated feeling, she peers into the steeply appointed room and spies a brooding mystic scrying into two bowls of water which he carries solemnly in walking meditation. It is Saturn, himself, in Aquarius who is receiving anagoge.

Luna barely separates from a square to the Nodes as Saturn and Mars perfect by trine. Wise, and of Saturn’s temple, Luna tends to Lord Chronos and translates the potency of this trine between malefics throughout the land and across time. Look back to the end of September when these two met by trine also at 19 degrees. Only, this time Saturn is direct and Mars is retrograde, an exact inverse of September’s trine.

The Three Fates hover in the air above the reflective water bowls in Saturn’s hands. They beckon and mime like silent movie actors imploring us to pay attention. Pressure to mature in the Aquarius sector of our charts reaches a critical stage.  This may also relate to what was born from the eclipses; a furthering of changes made across the fixed sign axis.

Luna flies back out into the night, screeching to the centaurs this message of Saturn’s synodic journey, asking their powerful legs to carry us through the dark time with enthusiastic diligence.

Consider this:

Despite the party in Zeus’ sign of Sagittarius, we still have work to do though the tasks are not new. Our Martian energies may feel thwarted, but Saturn supplies plenty of fortitude to complete hard work through applied effort.  The Support from Sagittarius planets may fuel us with optimism where drive is lacking.
