Before stepping onto the stage, our Lady of a Thousand Shapes slips into an elegant Queen Anne neckline dress and puts on her sunglasses. The distant sound of a roaring lion majestically echoes through the theater hall. Luna was hoping to catch a glimpse of Aphrodite, her tantalizing devotee, or Zeus, who usually passes by to whisper a waterfall of encouraging words into her ear. Alas, her admirers are ostensibly absent.

Tiny pearls of sweat appear on Luna’s illuminated forehead; the feeling of emptiness is excruciating. Finally, brawny Ares, master technician, breaks up our royal Lady’s growing performance anxiety. “Come on, let’s hear it!” he shouts, closing his toolbox with a loud bang. Not exactly the kind of language this leonine Queen is used to.
Something’s off about Mars, but Luna can’t put her finger on it. Walking backward, he collects the wooden flame props and sets them up backstage. Images of a red, crackling fire are now projected onto the stage’s backdrop.
As soon as her eyes get accustomed to the blinding spotlight, Luna tentatively peeks into the audience, hoping to see at least a few familiar faces. To her disappointment, she discovers there’s only one single fan in the house, Sol. He brought his horse and is sucking on a candy cane. Excited and full of childlike wonder, he can’t wait for the show to begin.
A cold breeze ominously seeps in from the back of the theater hall and announces the entrance of stern critic Saturn. He wears a black T-shirt that says “NO” and sends a quick chill through Luna’s spine. Luckily, Saturn feels the Sun’s happy sextile ray. It effectively replaces his cynicism with earnestness.
As the Moon directly opposes Saturn, a moment of “quality control” demands your attention. Trust that it will improve your performance but don’t let it freeze your activities.
