Pink Camo for the Win

Luna enters Taurus and dons washable silk pajamas like she’s casting a spell for comfort and opulence. Luxe cashmere and oxytocin chocolates are no longer the promise for Taurus Moons of late. Between Uranus and the head of the dragon, Venus’ earthy bovine sign has been a bit extra for some time now. Luna chooses a pink camo print to acknowledge the tough terrain ahead. In Libra, host Aphrodite holds the door of loveliness open but her support for the Moon is unseen, echoed only as an inner knowing.

Jupiter is utterly blind to her. Nonetheless, our luscious Comfort Queen shines towards an expanding escape into beautiful things as Rahu beckons her closer. Ahead is a tumultuous dance with formidable characters. Undaunted she grabs a scone and an oat milk matcha latte for the road and walks barefoot for a while enjoying the support of Gaia. We still live on an incredibly fecund planet that never throws us off, the Sun still rises and sets.  Some things are sacredly dependable.

Heady from recent fullness, Luna envelopes Uranus in Taurus as if he were the perfect lover only to brilliantly illuminate the still partile square between him and Saturn in Aquarius.  Saturn is also trine the Libra Sun. Luna activates the airy trine, tousled by the wind but not blown apart. She slows the pace and embodies each moment.

Saturn’s complex interweaving of energies shimmers in moon glow.  Structures in our lives are begging for systemic changes and we have the strength and persistence to undertake them. Do your work even as the earth shakes. Slough off any desire for a song to remain the same and keep all parts of your mind and heart familiar with the ground.

Like Diogenes’ lamplit search for one honest man, Luna continues to point her antenna toward any benevolent feels.  It may be fruitless but this is a practice of letting in the good that allows us each to become a beacon of vitality and sanity. 

A sextile from Neptune in Pisces tests our steadiness. No land of oceanic illusion, nor numbing paradise for this earthy bull girl. Nope, Neptune’s square to Mars in Gemini is out of Luna’s site. Instead, the feels are more akin to doubt, disillusionment, deception. Again, she calls us to our substance. Be here now, there is no other place. A trine to Pluto says, “Be willing to completely transform the very comfort we so idealize.”

Consider this:

Do something utterly cozy and mammalian for yourself and other fellow warm-blooded friends. It’s a daring act these days. Take in the delight of the way sunlight hits your face or the smell of something delicious as it hits your senses. Take it all the way in as if your life depended on it, even if it only lasts one minute.

And remember, we are well inside the eclipse portal now. The next time the Moon comes to Taurus on November 8, it will be a total lunar eclipse. These next few days may be an infomercial for what’s to come, dropping hints and revealing wisdom. More will unfold over the next 6 months. Take notes.
