Pluto Up Close

Sans 2015

I remember it like it was yesterday. The thrill of seeing the first close-up picture of Pluto taken by NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft, revealed on July 13, 2015. To my utter delight, clear as day, there was “Pluto’s big heart.”

I thought about Pluto as signifying the dark, shadowy places in the psyche and how facing our inner demons with love is so necessary for the soul’s journey.
