I’m curious about the Antiscia between the IC and the Moon/Mercury conjunction. Could this also be a sign of someone with a mind that is deeply connected to the the place of mystery and endings (perhaps even more so with the sign of Capricorn at the roots and it’s association with the gate of the Gods)? I wonder also if she might have inherited this controversial gift or dark craft. Perhaps it felt ancestral with that exiled Venus in Scorpio in her 2nd house of resources sextiling the IC?
I can see in her 3rd house all the scepticism and doubt, as well as the need for that glimmer of faith and hope amidst the backdrop of world wars, economic depression and the pressure to rise above it all and make ends meet, perhaps at any cost, with that malefic enclosure of the Sun. The pressure must have been so intense. Perhaps even from her husband (Mars) and her children (Saturn).

Also, would that debilitated and hidden mercury ruling the 9th and 12th houses also be an indication of this spiritual/intuitive gift but also perhaps enemies?
It feels like Mercury would also speak to that magician energy. I can imagine people in her community feeling enchanted and/or hypnotised by her and her rituals. It’s beautiful also seeing how people would have felt inspired, healed and soothed, with the presence of the Moon connecting with Jupiter.
I love the way you ended this article with the question of what roles we play in our own lives. I find it so intriguing to see how these roles are influenced and shaped by the environment and culture around us and how they in turn influence and shape the people, culture and environment.
Even though I can see how a debilitated mercury could be that shifty trickster, I also wonder about the people in power who wrote her story, impacting how she is remembered. I wonder about their likely intention to undermine her, and others as well as those taboo practices by making her appear as evil and/or fraudulent?
