I think it's interesting that the chart of the European Union shows the eclipse going happening right on the degree of the IC and within 6 degrees of the Sun, who is the ruler of the 1st house. That, together with the fact that the European Union is having its first Saturn Return with transiting Saturn also crossing the degree of the descendant, thereby squaring Mercury, may bring significant changes in the EU’s economy since Mercury is the ruler of the 2nd house and the 11th house which have to do with money and resources. The IC can be seen as the foundation, or the roots, so it looks like the European Union might suffer some damage to its core. Which it already has of course with Brexit and then Russia on its doorstep...
