This is just beautiful! I listened to this while indulging in a New Year's Eve bath. The New Moon is still in Capricorn, ready to infuse the new year with a mandate to honor and respect the caring and careful labor of the wise grandmother. I finished reading Naomi Klein's Doppelganger last night (highly recommended, especially for those interested in why and how to build solidarity around the climate crisis), and something she wrote in the Acknowledgements at the end stuck with me: "Care labor is truly the foundation of the next world." May we all engage in the care labor necessary to sustain one another and to regenerate our world in 2025!
